When you visit Carol Meyers' office, you'll no doubt be struck by the frogs that inhabit her desk. Not real frogs, of course, but a menagerie of amphibians ranging from porcelain to plush, from tree frogs to tadpoles. Lots of people ask Carol about the origin of her affection for the little green creatures. She'll explain that it all started when a colleague gave her a small glass frog and the collection has been growing ever since.

A Unique Approach It seems to have taken on a life of its own over the years. Now even Carol's license plate, KSFROGS, and her kitchen, accented with lily pad cabinet handles, are marked by her signature collection. Carol's found she has rather inadvertently grown attached to the frogs and they keep her mindful of how she approaches her life and her business.
More Than a Philosophy "Everyone knows the old adage, look before you leap", she says. "The frogs on my desk are a kind of reminder to get all the necessary elements in line before making an important move." That philosophy, combined with her deep-rooted passion for working with people and a strong business savvy, has served Carol well throughout her career.
A Strong Foundation Growing up in the Midwest, Carol gained a strong work ethic early on, which was the solid foundation she took with her when she entered the real estate field more than 30 years ago as the single mother of four children. She was so adept at her profession she was ultimately asked to share her expertise with her colleagues as a trainer for Coldwell Banker's Western Region, where Carol's creative personality and dynamic teaching techniques made her programs a great success. But she yearned to return to her real estate roots: helping people buy or sell a home.
Carol enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood with her beloved Cockapoo, Sydney. His favorite thing in the world is getting a pat on the head, so be sure to say "hi".
A Professional for the Future Indeed, helping others with one of their most important investments, the place their family calls home, and successfully leaping to the next step in their future is a true passion for Carol. "Throughout my career Ive learned the importance of listening carefully and exploring every option so that I can successfully put all of the pieces of the puzzle together", she says.
Giving Back Carol believes in giving back to the profession that has given her so much over the years. She actively supports the real estate community, by serving the Orange County Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors as past president and, in 2006, the chapter Secretary. Her major committment for 2006 is serving both the local and state Realtor Associations. She is a director of the Orange County Association of Realtors as well as the Treasurer of the Association. Carol is also a director for the California Association of Realtors and serves on several state level committees.
